What Goes In Our Cakes Really Matters!
In order to make fantastic tasting cakes you need to start with the right raw materials. So, at Blueberry Hill Patisserie, we spend a great deal of time identifying local suppliers for many of our ingredients. If we can’t get what we want locally then we look at British suppliers before going global.
We only use free range eggs (from 3 miles away); organic flour (from the next county); real butter – you won’t find any margarine in our Cakery (so no hydrogenated fats); and we don’t use any unnecessary additives.
Offchurch Eggs
Bob and his team take great care in looking after their hens. They have lovely houses and loads of room to run around. We think they produce the best free range eggs around. A happy hen produces happy eggs which make happy cakes! Link: www.offchurch-poultry.co.uk
Shipton Mill

Butter/Oils
We feel strongly about processed fats in our cakes, therefore we will only use pure butter and vegetable oils. There are no margarines or other hydrogenated fats in our cakes and we know you’ll be able to taste the difference!
Fruits & Vegetables & Preserves
We use a wide selection of wonderful fruits (apples, pears, strawberries, rhubarb etc),vegetables (fresh carrots for our carrot cake), honeys, preserves, brioche (for our bread & butter pudding) and loads of other goodies in our products – most of these sourced from our friends at Warwickshire Farmer’s Markets.
